Tack Marking

PCSO Hall and PCSO Nicholls from Cannock Police  alongside PCSO Chaplin from Newcastle-under-Lyme Police  were out and about across Staffordshire today as part of the Rural and Wildlife Crime Team, visiting Old Peel Farm, Nantwich and Knowl Bank Farm, Shraley Brook to carry out tack marking as part of the #SecureSaddlesScheme.

The team spent the day chatting with owners, offering crime prevention advice, and security marking saddles and bridles to help protect our equestrian community from theft.

With the fantastic weather on our side, it was a great opportunity to engage with owners and raise awareness of the simple steps that can help keep tack safe.

Over 70 saddles and bridles were security marked during the day, a brilliant effort by everyone involved.
